~The food was delicious, loved the 3 taco sampler!! They have such neat combos for tacos!! The chips and 3 dip sampler and elote is a must!! AND the drinks...yummy! Peach bourbon smash was a hit as were the margaritas!! ~Taj (sp?), our server was delightful:). She explained everything very well and was very attentive. ~We went for our son's 22nd birthday! He LOVED it! The place has a cool, fun and hip vibe!! He said they had the best tacos he's ever had! They even signed a card for him! Thanks for making it such a fun night for him:)

I have loved everything I have tried thus far. My husband and I have gone to Agave & Rye multiple times at this point and its still a winner. All the food is so flavorful and the menu never gets boring with something new to try everyone. I will say my absolute favorite taco so far is the crispy salmon one. It was huge!! and tasted so amazing. Service is normally good and quick but they have their bad days as well. Overall, i definitely recommend if you haven't been here before or if you have a guest in town you want to impress.

We visited Agave & Rye in Grandview for my husband's birthday, and it was the most delightful dining experience ever! Not only does Agave & Rye feature the most creative and vibrant decor, but it also has the kindest and most attentive staff. Our family of four arrived later in the evening to avoid the crowds. The manager warmly greeted us and seated us in Erica's section. Our youngest is nine and has autism and very specific food preferences. When his grilled cheese and fries came out, the sandwich wasn't what he wanted, and the fries had cilantro on them, which he wouldn't touch. So, I figured I'd whip him up something to eat at home later like I've done countless times before. Without even knowing about our son's autism, Erica immediately picked up on the situation and stepped in to help. She had the kitchen adjust the food to suit his tastes better, and when it came back, he was overjoyed. As parents, it was a rare moment where we felt truly understood and supported. And Erica's exceptional service didn't stop there. For my husband's birthday, she brought out a card signed by the kitchen staff along with a complimentary dessert. Her thoughtfulness and warmth brought me to tears--it was unlike any dining experience we've ever had. She even took a moment to play video games with our son, making the night extra special. I can't express enough how wonderful Erica made this evening for our family. The food at Agave & Rye is incredible, but it's the outstanding service and genuine kindness that truly make this restaurant stand out. For families, especially those with autistic children, this is a safe and inclusive place where you'll feel respected and cared for. Thank you, Erica, for being absolutely extraordinary! Your epic service and willingness to go above and beyond created an unforgettable experience. We plan to come back and see you soon!

Visited Agave & Rye on a Saturday night. I made a reservation but there were many open tables when I arrived. I was greeted by the host and taken to my table. The waitress arrived shortly after. I ordered Chips and Queso as a starter. The Queso was packed with flavor. It tasted great. I also got a beer. Their draft list is very limited, which was made worse when they were out of their seasonal beer. I settled for a Modelo. As for my entree, I got the taco flight. Korean BBQ Chicken, Pork Carnitas and Beef Birria were the tacos I selected. All three tacos were great, but my favorite was the Birria Beef. All of the ingredients worked well. Overall I enjoyed my visit. This is a great spot to visit if you are looking for some interesting tacos.

Food is good and quite affordable and is one of a few places on InKind in the area. We tried a variety of tacos and the street corn. Drinks are pricy but they had a beer from Zaftig's on special for a low price. Service was friendly but a bit slow. I say the best feature here is the decor which has amazing vibrant artwork that was rather a sensory overload.

Mixed feelings about our visit to Agave & Rye. Staff and Servers were amazing, as was the food; but on a busy Saturday night, the place was relatively empty (15 chairs at the bar and few high tops were all empty). So energy was a little low - however, what matters (food and service) was top notch. Our server 'Riley' was super nice and patient! Our party slowly grew from 4 to 8 over the ~3 hrs. we hung out there enjoying drinks, apps, and dinner. We squeezed in a big booth in the back room and loved it. We started with their Pick 3 appetizer which included Guac, Queso and Salsa with plenty of chips. Everything was fresh and tasted perfect. Epic Margaritas were so good in various flavors and glass sprinkles - from classic to peach to ????? It was so good. Personally did the Ya Mon (Salmon w Pineapple slaw) and the Becky. Ya Mon was good but I am thankful I don't live near Grandview - as the Becky would be my downfall - SO SO Amazing. Don' Laugh - but it basically has a chicken tender, mac & cheese, onion rings, and bacon with a spicy jam. I would tell everyone to try this one. Wow! Group also tried The Gangster (beef) and loved it; and the Plain Jane (everyone thought it was too simple) would be a good kids starter ! Check you bill too, as they may add credit card charge and gratuity automatically. In our case Riley deserved more than their 20% add on. Thanks again Riley for a fun night and thanks for putting up with us.

First time taking the family to Agave and Rye and it did not disappoint. We arrived around 5:30 on Sunday and were surprised the restaurant was nearly empty. Service was attentive. Ordered the Birria tacos, chicken burrito, queso and kids chicken quesadillas for the 3 of us. Portion is generous and on the affordable side. The birria tacos had a good amount of meat too! Will definitely come back and try their epic tacos.

A fun casual place to try some different options of tacos, hotdogs, hamburger, etc. I came here to meet some friends for dinner and a birthday celebration. I enjoyed the cheesy grilled vegetable tacos. My husband had a taco that's like a hamburger in a taco, I can't remember the name. But he enjoyed it and only needed one to feel filled. The decor is very interesting with different light fixtures and murals on the wall

Love it here! I been to the agave and Rye in Cincinnati when they first opened and I was honestly too impressed, but I was looking for a lunch option on Easter and I decided to give it a shot. We weee greeted and seated right away, the service was above and beyond, the waitress was attentive, friendly, quick. I was impressed with the service from beginning to end. I ordered a side on chips and salva verde, the bang bang taco and the birria tacos (3) and a side of kimichi rice. Everything was so delicious so flavorful and unique. None of the plates were dull. I also asked for a spicy salsa and they were so spicy but great. Lastly, the amount of food was perfect, one taco is so fulfilling. I had a little to carry out and she even put a side of extra salsa. Love this place!
